ABOUT
USA Jump Stars was founded by veteran jumper Melinda Everett in 2007 as an effort to promote physical education to children of all ages. We promote jump rope as a means for creating a healthy body and mind. Our focus is fighting childhood obesity and heart disease while developing personal values, team spirit and sportsmanship through competition, live performance and fun! Our programs are offered at numerous elementary schools, community centers and YMCA facilities.

The Coronado Speed Spinners are a competition and performance jump rope team based in San Diego, CA. The team has appeared on numerous television shows including the Fox show "Glee", "The Doctors" and "American Idol". Additionally, they have starred in McDonalds, Hillshire Farms, Lance Cracker, Shoe Carnival, Ford Truck and Sport Authority commercials. The Speed Spinners compete at local, Regional, National and World jump rope competitions and maintain a lineup of some of the best jump rope athletes in the nation.
2024 CAMPS
Our camp programs are a great way to keep kids physically active and focused on a healthy lifestyle over the breaks. Children learn basic and intermediate jump rope skills over a week long period and put on a performance for family and friends on the final day. Participants will learn single rope, Chinese wheel, 2 person 1 rope, traveler, double dutch and long rope skills. Our professional staff has years of experience in creating an upbeat fun filled experience for kids of all ages and bring decades of jump rope skill to the table.
